With Guest Speaker Dr. Joschka Fischer, retired German Foreign Affairs Minister, the 26th German Logistics Congress ended on October 23. On three days, about 3,100 participants and 180 exhibitors enjoyed a broad spectrum of speeches, discussions and conversations. The stirring speech of Joachim Gauck at the Gala evening, the remarks of the former US ambassador John C. Kornblum, Walgreen-Manager Randy Lewis with his rousing plea for the empoyment of disabled persons and the panel discussion led by Theo Koll from German TV counted among the highlights of the event which was characterised by optimism and the seek for solutions.
